The Importance of Public Relations in Fundraising

Back in June of 2007, I recorded this podcast interview with Lisa Crowe of Itancan on the essential value Public Relations and Communications Strategies play in assuring non-profits are financed and why/how sponsors are attracted to supporting organizations. Given the responses I have been receiving from my recent survey of the challenges non-profits and associations face in their public affairs, I realized the need to bring out again from the archives this very informative exchange that shows exactly how PR impacts on revenue generation for non-profits.
The video only covers the first 10 minutes of the exchange (Youtube limits) but if you are interested in seeing more, you can catch the entire vodcast by clicking here.
